Product Summary

The Euromix Primer range is designed to improve the performance of Euromix coatings when applied over render and many other surfaces.

Euromix Primers seal the surface of most substrates, providing more uniform absorption rates, higher bond strengths and extended coverage for subsequent Euromix Texture and Paint coats.

Product Name

 Euromix™ Sealer Primer

Code

PRIMESOLV

Packaging

15 litre metal drums.

Appearance

In the container the material appears as a wet, clear to slightly opaque viscous liquid When applied as a final coat the product dries to clear gloss (wet look).

Application

It is recommended that Euromix Sealer Primer be thoroughly stirred in the bucket, using a power stirrer (on low speed so as to eliminate air bubbles), prior, to application.

Sealer Primer can be applied by brush, roller or spray in a minimum of two coats (if applying by roller it is recommended that a 6-8 mm nap roller sleeve be used) at the rate of 4.0 SQM / Litre per coat.

Allow a minimum twenty four (24) hours drying between coats.

It is imperative that a ‘wet-edge’ is maintained at all time.

Avoid applying Euromix® Paints and Textures in windy conditions or in temperatures outside the range 10°C to 30°C. Keep newly coated areas protected from rain and moisture for at least twelve (12) hours, longer in the lower temperature range. Do not apply if rain or frost is imminent or possible before the product has properly dried.

Where rain is imminent after the application of Euromix Sealer Primer, it is required that the coating be shielded from moisture getting onto the finished surface (and into the substrate) for at least 24 hours.

Exposure to rain is not the only issue – run-off or wind driven moisture can also cause coating failure!

Coverage

Apply two (2) coats at the rate of 4 SQM / Litre per coat as a binder or waterproofing finish.

Apply one (1) coat at the rate of 4 SQM / Litre per coat as a sealer.

To achieve a ‘trafficable’ wet look finish, apply three (3) coats at the rate of 4 SQM / Litre per coat.
