Acrylic Render Finishing System

Euromix™ offers a wide range of different render and texture solutions for finishing over polystyrene (EPS) walling systems such as NRG Greenboard, RMAX Orange, Dulux Esculite and ACE Polystyrene.

Finishing System Summary

Euroset recommends that any render, texture and paint finishing system applied over fibre cement (EPS) walling should be designed and applied in such a way as to;

Hide most sheet surface imperfections.

Minimise the appearance of minor structural imperfections, misalignment of walls, etc.

Provide a render/texture finish that is sufficiently thick/strong to be resistant to impact forces while still being able to flex with the EPS.

There are several Euromix products that can be applied in a number of different systems to achieve the above finish.

The key components of such systems are summarised as;

Substrate preparation, patching & fixing of trims.

Bedding render coat.

Base render coat.

Finishing render coat.

Texture coat.

Paint coat - optional.

Euromix Patch Course + PVC Beads

Lay Euromix Patch Coarse into the corners and/or onto the EPS Sheet faces and then fix the required PVC elements (beads etc) into position.

BEDDING RENDER COAT

Euromix NPS Render

Apply a first coat of NPS Base Render to a minimum thickness of 2mm with hawk & trowel. While this coat is wet, trowel in a continuous layer of alkali resistant fibreglass mesh (use 1.0M or 1.2M wide sheet) taking care to leave a 50mm overlap wherever the mesh joins.

TOP RENDER COAT

Euromix FP Render

Use of Euromix FP Render Coat as second coat over NPS Base Render. This is always recommended prior to application of Texture Finish OR Step 6

PRIMER COATING

Euromix Acrylic Primer

Application of Euromix Primer prior to Texture Coating is recommended for all substrates to seal the render and give tradesman for application of the texture coating. It is highly recommended when using dark colours

TEXTURE COATING OR PAINT

Euromix Texture / Euromix Paint Flex

It is recommended to use a Texture Coating to enhance aesthetics for finishing and provide flexibility to the system. Can be tinted to colour of choice.
